En 1978, il avait notamment produit la bande originale du film <em>The Wiz<\/em> avec d\u00e9j\u00e0 la pr\u00e9sence de Bruce Swedien comme ing\u00e9nieur du son. Il a d&#8217;ailleurs remport\u00e9 un Grammy Award pour le meilleur arrangement instrumental pour le titre &#8220;The Wiz Main Title (Overture, Part I)&#8221;.
